Gut issues can disrupt your daily life whether you are at work, exercising, socialising or at home. The numerous diets for digestive health can make it difficult to know which one is suitable for you. More importantly, if you have a medical condition, certain foods can worsen your symptoms and lead to increased stress and anxiety, thus affecting the quality of your life. We can work together to identify the foods that trigger your digestive symptoms so you can eat with more confidence. My areas of experience and knowledge include:

  • Coeliac Disease

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

  • Gastro-oesophageal reflux (GORD)

  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease)

  • Post-bariatric surgery gastrointestinal issues

  • Other longer-term issues: diarrhoea, constipation, reflux, nausea and/or abdominal bloating, pain, cramping or discomfort.

Importantly, I can advise on:

  • Gluten-free diet

  • Low-FODMAP Diet (see FODMAP section for more information)

  • Strategies to minimise reflux or nausea

  • Suitable fibre foods for constipation or diarrhea

  • Vitamin and mineral supplements to correct micronutrient deficiencies

  • Suitable probiotics
